Salamanders and frogs emerge from winter hibernation and migrate to these shallow breeding pools.  On Sunday, April 19^th at 2:00 pm the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center will host Peeps in Pools. During this hands on program, people will be able to discover these amphibians and other interesting inhabitants of the vernal pools with naturalist Pat Carney. Water-proof boots or shoes that can get wet and muddy are highly recommended.
