We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Hands on Oswego Community Cleanup planned May 17th! We need your help!
Greater Oswego-Fulton Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with Cre8 Studios is inviting community leaders, residents, and businesses to join us in the first 'Hands On Oswego Community Clean Up" The clean up will take place Sunday, May 17th at 10am starting from the Chamber's Office.
We are asking our community to come together for a day of cleaning, weeding, and litter removal specific to the downtown area. This event will provide residents and businesses with an opportunity to partner together in efforts to help keep our community beautiful. If we have enough volunteers, we will be ableto cover an even larger area like downtown neighborhoods.
Coffee provided by Taste the World - Specialty Foods & Coffee will be served at the Chamber Office located 44 E. Bridge Street. from 9:30 -10am. From there, volunteers will get their clean up assignments and supplies and commence the community clean up at 10am. The Department of Public Works (DPW) will provide participants with plastic gloves, and trash bags in support of the cleanup.
We are encouraged by the interest people have shown in giving back to our community and excited for the projects planned for this year. Businesses like Zink Shirts have unified their own clean-up efforts to make a larger impact on May 17th. It is collaborations like these that will improve our quality of life and create a more welcoming environment for our city's visitors.
