Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Susan Conklin will discuss the concept of creativity, what fosters it and what brings it to a halt at the next Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training's (WNET) monthly breakfast meeting, Thursday, June 4th, 8 a.m. at Operation Oswego County, 44 West Bridge Street, Oswego. You will leave with an understanding of creativity's role in problem solving, an awareness of perceptual blocks and creativity methods for overcoming barriers. Using some hands-on exercises, we will practice unleashing our creativity.
Susan Conklin is the owner of Concentric Growth, a company specializing in interpersonal and organizational education and training services. She designs and facilitates training programs that improve business performance, focusing on a company's most important resource – their people. Her goal is to inspire individuals and help organizations evolve.
Sue also teaches management, leadership, and cultural studies courses at Syracuse University and Columbia College, and she facilitates professional development workshops at SUNY Oswego.
Through networking, presentations and information sharing, WNET provides professional development and personal growth for women business owners.
The cost for each seminar is $15. Each seminar includes a light breakfast.
