Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
10am- parade line up starts at the driveway between Breitbeck Park and the ball park (corner of Lake Street and Ontario). The theme for the parade is "Somewhere over the Rainbow"
11am- parade starts. Continues eastbound on Lake Street, turns right on to West 1st Street and then turns right into the parking lot of the Railroad museum. The parade route is 7 tenths of a mile from beginning to end. All outfits and costumes must be appropriate for a family audience.
12pm- blessing of the festival
There will be music performances and a family friendly drag show with lots of audience participation for all ages. There will be food and craft vendors set up. There will also be an inflatable bounce house and lots of crafts and activities for the kids for free! Face painting and balloon animals.
4pm- outdoor Festival wraps up.
6 to 9pm- indoor adult drag show. 18 and over to attend... 21 to drink. $5 General admission to attend. All profits go to the Oswego Pride Committee.
