Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
As part of the Port City Co-Op's Sunday Flea Market, there will be a Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest and Small Business Showcase on Sunday 8/23 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the Pathfinder Bank parking lot on West 2nd Street in Oswego. The Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest is FREE and open to everyone.
Prizes will be awarded for the "best in show" in each of the following 3 categories:
1) Children Under 13
2) Teen/Adult 13+
3) Families/Groups
Chalk will be available but contestants are encouraged to bring their own. All artwork must be completed by 2:30 PM in order to be eligible for judging. For more information you may contact the Port City Co-Op at (315) 402-8483.
Be sure to come out to see the fantastic artwork of your friends and neighbors and to get a glimpse of what some of SOLO's partner businesses have to offer. It will be a great time for the whole family!
