We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Art Association of Oswego announces the opening of an exhibition of Cuban paintings from the collection of Eugenio Basualdo at Oswego Civic Arts Center on Saturday August 22. The exhibition, entitled The End of the Embargo, will feature paintings that Mr. Basualdo’s has collected over the past thirty years. This group of paintings is diverse in subject and style--it includes Naturalism, Surrealism, Cubism and Abstract Expressionism.
The show will open with a reception on Saturday, August 22 from 5 to 7 pm. As always, the event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
The Arts Center is located at the northernmost end of East 4th Street in Oswego. Regular gallery hours are from 10 am - 1 pmon Saturdays and from 1 pm - 4 pm on Sundays.
