We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

The Oswego Dragon Boat Festival raises money for the Oswego YMCA's Strong Kids Campaign. This initiative helps children in our community have access to the YMCA's programs and facilities.

Friday Sept 11th 5pm Blue Mass to commemorate the lives of those who died in the tragedy of 9/11 followed by the Heroes Challenge Dragon Boat Race.
The Heroes Challenge is a race between four teams made up of our community heroes and their families and friends. The Oswego Police Department, The Oswego Fire Department, SUNY Oswego University Police and SAVAC, and the US Coast Guard will be participating in this event and will paddle to raise money for the Oswego YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign.
There will be music and entertainment in Breitbeck Park before and after the Heroes Challenge race as well as a chicken barbecue!
Races begin at 9:00 am on September 12, 2015! There will be something in Breitbeck Park for everyone! Walk through the team village to see how teams have decorated their tents. Take a look in the Dragon Marketplace, where vendors will be set up. Dragonland will have fun activities for the kids. We can't forget the dragon boat races, they are a sight to see.
