Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
"Discovering Amazing STEM Women" by Jill Tietjen, chief executive officer of the National Women's Hall of Fame. Author, national speaker and an electrical engineer, Tietjen is one of the top historians in the country on scientific and technical women. She is co-author of the bestselling and award-winning book "Her Story: A Timeline of the Women Who Changed America." A reception will precede her talk at 5 p.m. in the Marano Campus Center concourse outside the auditorium. Books are available for purchase in the College Store or at the event and she will sign copies of her book after the talk at 7 p.m. Free. 312-2258.
