Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Cyclocross which has been exploding in participation and spectator popularity in the United States. It
has European origins dating back to the 1900s. It has been described as an off-road bike race combined
with steeplechase. Most commonly, Cyclocross races are held from late summer to early winter season.
It’s hallmarked by short looping courses that provide technical obstacles for racers to safely navigate
such as barriers, hill run-ups and 90 degree turns. Courses are typically setup in park areas allowing for
spectator and family friendly viewing.
This year we’ll be featuring a CITIZEN ONLY race for a $5.00 entry fee this will allow the beginner racers
a chance to race against people that are also new to the sport. The benefit being that if you like it there
are other races throughout the day that you can race in. (a one day or yearly USA Cycling license is
mandatory for all, racers). The CITIZEN ONLY race will fill up fast and is limited to 75 racers so register
early.
