Insects at Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center
Sunday, September 27, 2015, 01:00pm - 02:00pm

The public is invited to come investigate insects at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center on Sunday, September 27th, 2:00 pm. Insects make up the largest and most diverse class of animals on earth and have survived for millions of years. Following a discussion of the interesting adaptations of the six-legged wildlife of the center, participants will wander about the woods and fields with the facility’s environmental interpreter to search for buzzing, chirping, crawling, leaping, and flying insects.

There is a $4.00 fee per person with a family rate of $12.00. Children under the age of 3 are free. The Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center is located at 748 State Route 183 in Amboy, between Routes 69 and 13 near Williamstown in eastern Oswego County.  For more information about this and other programs, please call Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County 963-7286, ext. 400.  Cornell Cooperative Extension is an employer and educator recognized for valuing AA/EEO, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and provides equal program and employment opportunities.
