Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Science lecture: "Building X-ray Cameras." Dr. Marianne Hromalik of SUNY Oswego's electrical and computer engineering department will talk about "Building X-ray Cameras: Collaborative Research in Digital Design." She will discuss how to build X-ray diffraction cameras to take a picture of objects so small we cannot use visible light to view them. She will also give a brief outline of her role in the design and development of pixel array detectors and what students are working on at SUNY Oswego. Part of SUNY Oswego's Science Today lecture series. Refreshments before talk.
