Remembering the Blizzard of '66
Thursday, February 04, 2016, 01:30pm - 02:30pm

What were you doing in late January and early February of 1966? Folks who were living in Oswego and the Central New York area can tell you - because that's when the famous Blizzard of '66 struck, depositing up to 8 1/2 feet of snow in some areas in the matter of a few days.

Come mark the actual anniversary of the event and hear Jim Farfaglia, author of "Voices in the Storm, Stories from the Blizzard of '66", share his collection of stories from the people who lived through the event and the impact it made on our local community. The presentation and discussion is free of charge and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.

Those planning to attend the event are asked to RSVP to Bishop's Commons at (315) 349-0799.
