Of Light & Land is an exhibition that explores the landscape as photographic subject. Photographer Taylor Clock’s views of the land, both constructed and natural, are a search for meaning in subject matter and process. Images of constructed landscapes are paired with those of the natural world. The photographs’ similarity in form, yet stark contrast in subject matter, help question the meaning of photography’s unique representation of land.
Taylor M. Clock is a recent graduate of SUNY Oswego, having received a BFA degree in graphic design with a focus on photography. He currently lives and works in Albany, New York. With aspirations of furthering his artistic voice, Clock plans to pursue an MFA in photography in the near future.
