Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
In an effort to show support and appreciation for our local Veterans, the USOswego team will be offering a full breakfast on Friday, November 11th, at the Community Center of the Oswego Alliance Church. The church is located at 371 Thompson Road in Oswego, which is across from the main entrance to SUNY Oswego on Route 104 West. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.
The breakfast will be free of charge for veterans, as well as children aged 12 and under. Non-veterans will be asked to provide a $7 donation. Veterans will need to present an ID, such as used at the VA, or a copy of their DD-214 as 'proof of service'.
The meal will consist of the following:
Eggs, pancakes, sausage, ham, potatoes, toast, coffee, orange juice, real maple syrup and water
In advance, we would like to thank our breakfast volunteers from RSVP, as well as those volunteering for food preparation from the Oswego Alliance Church.
If you are a vet needing transportation to this breakfast, please call 315-402-6623 the day before (Thursday, 11/10) and we will arrange for your transportation if at all possible.
