Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Oswego Alliance Church invites you to partake in their 4th Annual FREE Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day, November 26 from 11 am to 2 pm at the Oswego Alliance Community Center, 370 Thompson Road.
We are offering you the choice of eating in, take outs, or we will have someone deliver your dinner. New this year is that we will be offering eat in or pick up of dinners on the East side of Oswego at New Covenant Community Church, 51 E Oneida St.. Oswego, NY. For more information, you may call the church office at 342-5493 from 9 am to 2 pm.
If you desire a dinner delivered, please phone the church office by November 21st to schedule a delivery for Thursday, Nov. 24th. Please indicate name, phone number, address and quantity of dinners. If no answer, leave information on answering machine.
As part of His Community Reaching Our Community we also serve Thanksgiving Dinner to those working in the Oswego Emergency Room, 911 Center and the Oswego Police Department.
The menu will consist of Turkey, Homemade Bread Dressing, Fresh Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Cabbage Salad, Cranberry Sauce, Dinner Roll and a slice of Homemade Pie.
