Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
For all our Upstate New Yorkers who have NEVER snoeshoed before, this 30 minute clinic is for you! Kick off 2017 with a HEALTHY BANG by trying something you never have before and perhaps always wanted to!
Do you have your own snowshoes and are not sure how to use them, thats ok to- bring them along and I will show you how.
I will be offering 30 minute snowshoeing basics begining this Sunday. Days of the week and time will change weekly. We will meet in the public parking lot off 481 at the North Exit/Entrance of Lock 7 on the Oswego Canal. Participants will have the opportunity to be properly fitted with snowshoes and poles with a guide on hand to provide assistance and answer any questions you may have.
Cost is $5.00 per person. This is open to all ages and abilities from 2-92! Please dress warmlly. Water resistent pants, coat, gloves and a covering for face and ears highly recommended.
