Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Rice Creek Story Hour

Story hour
Join us at 11 o'clock as we share tales of nature, animals' wild ways, and how we relate to our world around us. Since program size is limited, we are not able to accommodate groups. These free programs are designed for elementary aged children though all are welcome. An adult must accompany children under 17. SUNY Oswego's Rice Creek Field Station offers Story Hour in support of SUNY's partnership with the Read Aloud 15 Minutes national initiative.
Programs are free and open to the public.
