June 3rd, Captain Ron Marquisse, co-author of "Cruising America's Waterways: The Erie Canal" will be presenting on that title. His journey through the New York State Canal System is one of wonders, and we look forward to having him. There will be a Q&A session and a book signing following Captain Marquisse’s presentation.

The 2017 History Lecture Series at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum at Oswego promises to bring some notable names and relevant topics. The annual history lecture series is held on Saturdays, throughout the year, from 1:30 - 3 pm. This event is free and open to the public. The first three this year take a New York State Canal theme as our region gears up for the Bicentennial era of the system, which began construction 200 years ago in 1817.

Location : H Lee White Maritime Museum, 1 W 1st St., Oswego
