Historic Fort Ontario will host the Outdoor Interpretive Panel Dedication & Walking Tour of the 1944-1946 Fort Ontario Emergency Refugee Shelter from 7-9pm. This event is open to the public for the international observance of World Refugee Day, which was put in place to honor the courage, strength and determination of women, men and children who are forced to flee their homeland under threat of persecution, conflict and violence.
