Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Planetarium Show: "The Stars of Summer." Planetarium operator Rich Frieman will lead an exploration of the summertime night sky, locating bright asterisms and constellations that amateur astronomers can observe from their backyards. With the aid of the dome, participants will also observe some deep sky objects that reside within the boundaries of these summertime constellations. Star maps will be provided for the audience. Children 17 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Free, including parking in the Centennial Drive lot (E17) or Washington Boulevard lot (C8). 315-312-2790. 7 to 8 p.m., Room 223, Shineman Center.
