Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
As in previous years, there will be a total of eight performances. Five concerts will feature the Oswego City Band under the direction of Trevor Jorgensen and three concerts will feature the Oswego City Jazz Band led by Stan Gosek.
These concerts are provided free to the public by The City of Oswego and The Musicians Union of Oswego County. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs or relax in your car as you enjoy the music.
The schedule for the 2017 Oswego Summer Concert Series is as follows:
June 28 - Concert Band 7:30 PM
July 5 - Concert Band 7:30 PM
July 12 - Jazz Band 7:30 PM
July 19 - Concert Band 7:30 PM
July 26 - No Concert
August 2 - Jazz Band 7:00 PM
August 9 - Concert Band 7:00 PM
August 16 - Concert Band 7:00 PM
August 23 - Jazz Band 7:00 PM
Please note that concerts will begin at 7:30 in June and July and they will begin at 7:00 in August. This allows the audience to enjoy the spectacular Oswego sunsets each and every week of the concert Series.
