Event Description
2017 FIRST SHOT SHOWCASE / FORWARDS
The First Shot Showcase is aimed at providing an opportunity for both exposure to and instruction from College Hockey coaches. Players will participate in a total of four games and four practice sessions while at the camp. In addition to the on ice experience, players will attend a three part lecture series on the following topics:
Panel discussion with coaches on the recruiting process and what they are looking for.
A question and answer session with current college hockey players about their experience in balancing academics and athletics and also being recruited.
Being good teammates and good team members with Dave Lloyd (Peak Performance Coach, Oswego State Men’s Ice Hockey).
Last season the showcase was attended by 15 various colleges, prep schools and junior programs.

ALL MALE PLAYERS: BORN BETWEEN 1999 - 2002
CHECK-IN ON DAY 1: 2:00 P.M. / CHECK-OUT ON DAY 4: 12:00 P.M.

COST OF THE SHOWCASE INCLUDES: All meals from Sunday afternoon until Wednesday morning, camp shirt, jersey, notebook with all camp materials
EACH AGE LEVEL LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: 48 Forwards
WHAT CAMPERS SHOULD BRING: Hockey gear, tennis shoes, shorts, t-shirts.
OVERNIGHT CAMPERS: Bedding (TWIN LONG), pillow, towel, fan.
