Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

The Bicentennial Canal Theatre Project, 8pm Friday August 18th at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum. An outdoor theater production performed on the historic Derrick Boat 8. The Oswego Canal Play, a one act play written by Oswegonian, Rick Sivers, is based on historical characters that lived in Oswego in the 1830s, a time when the Erie and Oswego Canals played an important role in the development of America as people migrated west.
One night only. Admission is FREE to the public. Bring your own seating. Alternate rain-date: Saturday the 19th. Supported in part by the City of Oswego, The H. Lee White Maritime Museum, and Pathfinder Bank - Appropriate for the whole family.

Derrick Boat 8 at the H. Lee White Maratime Museum - Given its association with the maintenance of the New York State Barge Canal between 1927 and 1984, Derrick Boat 8 serves as an important example of the bygone steam era and the perfect "stage" for our waterside performance.
