Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Art Association of Oswego announces a new pottery class: Clay Garden Art--a 6-week hand-building course starting Wednesday, August 30 to Oct 4 from 6 to 9 pm.
This class is designed for those who already know the basics of hand-building with clay. Students will complete 2-3 projects depending on size and complexity.
The possibilities for creativity are endless ... you could create a hanging planter, mask, wind chimes, totem animal, small bird house or toad house.
Emphasis will be placed on:
planning projects
creating armatures
transforming meaning to form
incorporating natural and found objects into work
Cone 6 stoneware clay will be provided.
