Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Founded in 1989 by Lion Past President Don Charbonneau, this event is held each year just after Labor Day at the Canal Park (behind the Tavern on the Lock Restaurant).
Tickets are sold at a cost of $5.00 per duck ($25 for 6) with each ticket assigned a duck number. The number is placed in turn on a plastic duck. On derby day, thousands of these ducks are dumped into the Oswego River Canal. They are then floated to a finish line where winners are drawn in sequence. The first duck to cross the finish line wins a first prize of $2,500 sponsored by Fulton Medicine Place. Additional prizes provided by local businesses are awarded for the next 20+ finishers as well as the last place duck.
We also sell food, pull-tabs and run local sponsored raffles throughout the day.
Entertainment by The Fabulous Ripcords is provided by Community Bank N.A. Facepainting and pick-a-duck prizes are also available!
It is a great end of the summer party!!!
