Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Join us on May 14th at 7pm when Peg Peck, Constantia Town Historian, will explain what a land patent is and why most land deeds east of the Oswego River start by mentioning the Scriba Patent. Telling about George Scriba will touch upon gun smuggling, iron and silk manufacturing, Alexander Hamilton, the Erie Canal, and the inauguration of George Washington. Peg will be happy to answer questions after the talk. She can also help with ways to use the Internet to find the kind of information she has about George Scriba.
Peg will also be accompanied by a special guest, George Scriba's direct descendant, George Scriba!
