Bird Song Saunter
Thursday, May 17, 2018, 05:30pm - 07:00pm

Amboy 4H bird song saunter

To paraphrase a classic movie, “The woodlands are alive with sound of music,” -- bird songs of course, and the music is enchanting!

Join naturalist Pat Carney and Faith Baker of the Onondaga Audubon Society on Thursday, May 17th, at 6:30 pm for a Bird Song Saunter. Delight in an evening concert along woodland trails and brook side, as you look and listen to feathered friends engaged in courtship, nesting, and defending territory. Participants may see a Pine Warbler, a Wood Thrush, or Cedar Waxwings near the beaver pond.

This program is just $4.00 per person, $12.00 per family, and children under 3 are free! Binoculars are recommended; a limited number are available to borrow. For more information about the facility & its programming, call Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oswego County 4-H Program, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at (315) 963-7286.
