Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
This year's summer festival will once again provide fun, food and all the festivities, which make this a "must attend" event. The festival will be held Friday, August 3 (5 PM - Sunset) and Saturday, August 4 (5 PM - sunset). On Sunday, August 5, only a chicken barbecue (NOON til SOLD OUT) and the White Elephant Sale (10 AM - 2 PM) will be offered This year's new money raffle is creating a huge buzz! Only 300 tickets will be sold at $50 each with 1st Prize being $5,000!! Additionally, 2nd Prize is $2,000; 3rd Prize is $1,000; and 4th Prize is a gas grill. There is a 1 in 75 chance that a ticket holder will win one of the four prizes offered in the raffle!! Musical entertainment will be provided by Paul Vandish on Friday. TheSounds of Brass and Lou's All-Stars will entertain on Saturdav evening. This popular festival (rain or shine) in the heart of downtown Oswego has been a crowd pleaser for over a century! Don't miss it!!
