Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Stone Soup Luncheon started as a social gathering to increase the visibility of food insecurity throughout our county, and has grown into an annual event local agencies rely on.
Join us to sample soups donated from local restaurants while making a difference in our community. Profits raised and nonperishable food items that are donated will be split between local food pantries to give them a boost as we approach the busy holiday season.
The mission of this event is similar to that of the original folk story, where villagers each add a small component to a pot of boiling water. In the end, since everyone in the town gave what they could, the entire village was able to share a stone soup feast together. We hope you will join us to fight hunger in our community.
