We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.

I invite you to attend the unveiling of my insect field guide at Rice Creek Field Station (Part of SUNY Oswego) this Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at 2pm. Photographing insects has been a passion of mine for over a decade. This book is a culmination of thousands of man hours on my part to illustrate the true beauty insects have to offer the world. One hundred local insect species have been photographed, catalogued, researched, and written about. This guide will not only serve the prospective entomologist, but it's also a valuable community asset. My presentation is a part of the annual Rice Creek Associates (RCA) event that supports annual small grants programs (I was a recipient of one of their grants). There will be many other presentations. Hors d'oeuvres will be served at 2:00pm, with presentations of research beginning at 3pm. The station is located at 193 Thompson Road, Oswego, NY.
