Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Feeding Feathered Friends

Late autumn into winter is a wonderful time to become acquainted with avian friends who share all our seasons of the year. A slide presentation will introduce the real snowbirds - local songbirds that endure the rigors of winter with us and brighten the season with their color, calls, and foraging behaviors. Habitat, foraging techniques, as well as feeder and seed preferences will be covered with samples provided to take home for your yard and birds. Be sure to dress warmly; following the indoor program, enjoy the crisp autumn air with naturalist Pat Carney for a wander along the woodland trails, looking and listening for feathered friends.
