We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.

This is a statewide winter fishing tournament event where anglers can target any NY State waterway for a multitude of species, using any legal angling methods (ice and open water), any time of day, for 2 months (Jan. 1 - Feb. 28). The event features sponsored prize packages and a cash payout based on angler participation. There is also a Lunker Pool for a shot at additional cash and youth angler awards.

We are test piloting a new catch & release option!

a minimum of 12 registered anglers by Dec. 31st to run the event, otherwise the C&R event will be canceled.
