Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Join John Rogers for an inspirational PowerPoint slide presentation on the life history of the Eastern Bluebird, nest box management, other birds that nest in bluebird boxes, and more. As you know all things in nature are connected, John will share his love for the natural world while connecting the bluebird’s life cycle to wildflowers, butterflies, other birds and more. Quotes by some of the great naturalists of the past along with sounds and photographs make this program of interest to anyone who appreciates nature. After the presentation there will be an optional Bluebird Nest Box Building Workshop; all tools and materials provided, with a cost of $9.00 for each kit. The presentation is free and open to the public, if you would like to also build a nesting box, there is a $9 materials fee.
