Wireless Aboard the Titanic

Keith Conroy, ham radio enthusiast, describes the sinking of the Titanic from the perspective of wireless Morse code operators, with a very emotional account of the tragedy as told by one of the wireless operators. Mr. Conroy's presentation will include pictures of the titanic and Carpathia, a model of the Titanic, and a transcription of the distress signals received at the time. Reservations are recommended, but Walk-ins are welcome. To make reservations cal Kay, at 315-668-7182. A $5.00 admission fee will be collected at the door. All proceeds go to the Capital Fund for Vital Repairs to the 108-year-old Schroeppel Historical Society building in Phoenix, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
