Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Linda Scherz returns to the Center to lead this hands-on workshop in basket weaving. Everyone loves this basket! A solid 4” wood base with spokes pre-glued will be ready for students to start weaving. Students learn to twine with paracord as they weave, creating a survival bowl measuring almost 5” high opening to 7½” diameter, and learning many techniques. Complete with a lashed on rim that is accented with paracord rim filler. There will be a selection of colors for students to choose from. Made with survival paracord, if needed you can unweave and use.
Class fee includes all materials, prep, pattern and tool use during class to complete basket. Be sure to bring a lunch and beverages for yourself.
The fee for this day long class is ONLY $76 PER PERSON and includes all materials. Pre-registration WITH PAYMENT is required as space is limited! Registration closes at 4 PM June 7th. Please call 315-963-7286 to register.
