Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Kids of all ages are invited to come investigate insects at the Amboy 4-H Environmental Education Center on Tuesday, August 20th, 10:00 AM. (Raindate: Wednesday, August 21st, 10:00 AM.)
Insects make up the largest and most diverse class of animals on earth and have survived for millions of years. After a short talk about some of their interesting characteristics and adaptations, participants will wander about the fields with naturalist Pat Carney to search for buzzing, chirping, leaping, flying, incredible insects.
There is a $4.00 fee per person with a family rate of $12.00. Children under the age of 3 are free.
