Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Young Americans for Freedom club will host guest speaker Morgan Zegers. At just 22 years old, Morgan is the founder of a national youth non-profit organization reaching millions of people every day. After graduating from American University and returning home to New York, Morgan led a trailblazing campaign for New York State Assembly being among of only a handful of young women to run for office and even earned a featured spot on CNN highlighting her as bold young woman seeking to make a difference.
Organizers believe this event can be a great opportunity to hear from an inspiring young woman, who is blazing a trail to make in impact in the world. After her speech she will open the floor to a Q&A session and will be available after the event to meet and take questions as well.
