Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."

Tai Chi Chuan, usually abbreviated as Tai Chi or Taiji, is movement in slow motion. When you do Tai Chi, you slow down, you can see more clearly how you are moving, and you feel that you are in the picture. Life itself seems to slow down, and you have an opportunity to experience your own body in motion: relaxed, evenly spaced, more rooted to the ground, natural, unhurried.
Susan Mayer will be leading us through some basic Tai Chi forms in a class here at the library! Check here for dates and times of classes. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. See you there!
