Story Hour: Native American Animal Myths
Saturday, 02 November 2019, 10:00 - 11:00

native american story

Naturalist Linda Knowles will be sharing tales of Native American animal myths, in honor of upcoming Indigenous Peoples' Day (October 14th) and Native American Heritage Month (November). Interested participants will have the chance to write their own myths, about a pet or animal they know (October) and create their own totem animal ornament using clay (November). Come to both programs and hear different tales!

About Story Hour: Programs share tales of nature, animals' wild ways, and how humans relate to the world around them. These free programs are designed for elementary aged children, though all are welcome. An adult must accompany children under 17 years of age.
