Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Zully Ramirez is an Investigative Reporter for Telemundo Chicago focusing on investigative and consumer protection journalism offering spanish-speaking consumers opportunities for their concerns to be addressed in various markets throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Originally from Guatemala, Ms. Ramirez received her bachelor’s degree in journalism, worked for Univision, and is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. She will speak about her career path, the current work she does, advice for students, and balancing this with dual language and culture in the United States.
