We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Class in hand-painted silk scarves

The instructor, Michele Southgate, will offer a class in painting silk scarves using a technique called Batik. Batik is an Indonesian method of producing colored designs on fabric by applying wax to the parts to be left uncolored. The method produces bright colors with repetitive patterns over the entire scarf.Cost: $45 includes materials. $10 non refundable deposit payable at the Lakeside Artisan Store will hold your space in class
