Make your love a glass valentine for Valentine’s Day. Diane Chepko-Sade is teaching a fused glass class on Saturday, February 1, from 10am to noon at Lakeside Artisans, 191 West First Street in Canal Commons in Oswego.
Chepko-Sade says,"We will make fused glass ornaments that can be hung in a window or on the wall." Starting with a blank square or heart-shaped piece of glass, participants will decorate it with small glass elements, such as hearts, flowers (millifiori) and other shapes, and glue them in place. The ornaments will then be fused in the kiln overnight, and can be picked up at Lakeside Artisans the following day.
The class is limited to 8 students, which may include children 10 and older as well as adults.
There is a registration fee of $10 for the class.
