Norman H. Finkelstein, book talk about the 'the shelter and the fence.' In 1944, at the height of WWII, 982 European refugees found a temporary haven at Fort Ontario in Oswego. For those few who reached Oswego it was life changing. This book tells their stories. Former librarian and professor, Norman H. Finkelstein is the author of twenty well-reviewed nonfiction books.
