Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Sun Set and Full Moon Walk

The December full moon is referred to as the Cold Moon, a.k.a. Oak Moon, Moon before Yule, and the Long Night Moon (The Winter Solstice is December 21 at 10:59 a.m. Eastern). You never know what you might see or hear during a moon walk; owls, fox, deer or other creatures of night woods. No matter what we observe it will be an interesting way to see the wetlands, woodlands and fields by the light of the Cold Moon, remember to dress for the weather and come a bit early to see the sun dip below the horizon.
