Author Natalie Joy Woodall will join us on Indies First and Small Business Saturday to discuss her new book Of the 400,000 men from New York State called to duty in the Union armed forces during the Civil War, approximately 12,000 or 75 percent of the voting population, called Oswego County home. Author Natalie Joy Woodall has conducted extensive research to uncover many previously unknown stories of these brave men, and the families that supported them. Thirty-seven of these stories are shared here, as well as the precise location for each of their gravesites. Natalie Joy Woodall is a local historian, author, retired educator and contributor to The Palladium-Times. She is the author of several local history books.
