Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Oswego YMCA will host the 32nd Annual Reindeer Run, a 5k Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 9:30am. This event is a non-competitive fun run and participants are encouraged to dress festively in their holiday best! Participants may run individually or as a team.
As an added bonus this year, the YMCA is offering the Reindeer Games for kids ages 4-12 from 9am-12pm.
Reindeer Fun Run registration is available online or at the Oswego YMCA, 265 West First Street. Fees increase for same day registration will be accepted until 9:15am on race day.
Commemorative winter hats are only guaranteed to participants if registered by November 18th. Santa will be at the finish to congratulate all runners and to share some holiday cheer. Snacks and refreshments, including coffee and hot chocolate and snacks will be offered following the run.
Prizes will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd finishers of both male and female and another prize for best costume.
