Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Annual Welcoming Torchlight Ceremony celebrates 25 years this Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, in the Marano Campus Center Convocation Arena. With this honored tradition, nearly 2,000 current students, faculty and staff welcome new freshmen and transfer students into our academic community.
The Ceremony will be emceed by Nicole Schnorr '15, the torch of learning will be carried by Tucker Sholtes '15 and the student speaker will be Anja Godlewski-Dykes '15.
Immediately following, the student crowd will move to the other end of the Arena for a Post Torchlight Party, hosted by Oswego's Orientation Program!
