Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The Oswego Lions Club will present the 9th Annual “Cow Chip Bingo” with Classic Car Show on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego. The Cow Chip Bingo portion of the day will begin at noon. We will also feature Lighthouse Lanes famous chicken BBQ being served from 12 noon to 4 pm. (or until sold out)
Proceeds from the Cow Chip Bingo portion will be used to support our annual scholarship fund in memory of Harold “H” and Mary Dowd. Anyone interested in helping to sponsor this great event or to purchase bingo deeds for a chance to win $500 may contact any Lions Club member or call Karen Hammond @ 342-0043.
The Oswego Lions Club, established in1956, raises money through various fundraisers and distributes this money in the community. The primary missions of the Lions Club are sight and hearing related projects. This includes assisting community residents and school students with eye exams, eyeglasses, and hearing aids. In addition to sight and hearing, the club donates money to many worthy organizations and causes in the community.
Come out and support your local Lions Club for this fun event! Enjoy live musical entertainment, the live cow show, chicken BBQ and Classic Car Show! It’s sure to be fun for all!
