Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
The short film, “Sterling Nature Center: A Living History. How a Small Town Fought Back” premiered in March to a packed auditorium at SUNY Oswego.
Now it is coming home.
The SUNY Oswego student and faculty produced 15-minute documentary film will premiere locally on Thursday June 20th at 7 p.m. at the Sterling Nature Center’s new interpretive center. The film, originated by SUNY Professor and member of the Friends of the Sterling Nature Center board, Laura Donnelly, deals with the history of the formation of the center and includes interviews with a number of people involved over the years.
The June 20th event will feature a screening of the 15-minute film followed by a moderated Q&A panel discussion.
