Navigating the Calendar
We get it! There's a lot to see here. That's why we've added a number of ways for you to find what you're looking for... and to browse smarter.
- To view event listings by town or city, use the Location Filter to the right.
- Browse by event type by clicking on the category you'd like to see more of; for example, clicking on "Free" will pull up all calendar entries that you do not have to pay to participate in.
- You can also type in keywords into the calendar's search bar, such as "yoga" or "bingo."
Join the members of American Patchwork Quartet (APQ) for a very special jazz workshop. Led by multi-Grammy award-winning guitarist and vocalist Clay Ross, APQ binds timeless American folk songs with jazz sophistication, country twang, West African hypnotics, and East Asian ornament. Ross will be joined by bandmates Falguni (Falu) Shah, an eleventh-generation Hindustani classical vocalist and the first South Asian woman to win a Grammy award, Yasushi Nakamura, an internationally acclaimed Issei jazz bassist, and Rudy Royston, a drummer and percussionist who has performed with many of today's finest jazz musicians.
This workshop is free and open to all.
